How to use Free Sticker Maker: App tutorial

1. First get Free Sticker Maker on Google Play (If you don't have done yet):
   
   
   
   
   
2. Create a new sticker pack with (+). Enter the name of the pack and the author.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Now, you can create an icon (optional) and until 30 stickers for the pack.
   
   
4. To create a new sticker tap on +Sticker choose "Static sticker", "Animated sticker" or "Combine stickers".
   
   
   
   
   
5. If you choose Animated sticker you can import GIF or Video (from gallery), import online from GIPHY, take from camera or create a blank sticker and draw each frame.
   
   
   
   
   
6. Clicking Import from GIPHY you can access for free to a huge online database of animations and convert them into animated stickers.
   
   
   
   
   
7. If you choose Combine stickers in the "add sticker" menu, you can pick, resize and rotate many static and animated stickers to combine them into a new sticker.
   
   
   
   
   
8. If you choose Static sticker in the "add sticker" menu, you can pick from camera or gallery or draw from a blank sticker.
   
   
   
   
   
9. Crop the section of the picture that you want to transform in a sticker. Remember that stickers are a bit small, you must focus on the essence of the sticker.
   
   
   
   
   
10. Erase the background if you want. You can use the automatic removal tool or remove it carefully using your finger. If you use your finger, you can change the radius and offset of the pointer. You can also undo/redo each operation and restore parts of the original background with your finger.
    The automatic tool is for static and animated stickers, for animated ones you can refine the result frame by frame to get a better effect.
    
    
    
    
    
11. Now tap the button "Add to WhatsApp", accept the dialog and the pack will be available on WhatsApp!
    
    
    
    
    
12. Tap on an existing sticker to remove or edit. You can crop, erase background, draw, add text or emojis and import other stickers! In order for the changes to be reflected, you must tap "Update on WhatsApp" button.
    
    
    
    
    
13. To change the order of the stickers in the pack, you need to long click on the sticker and move it to the new position. If you have already added the pack to WhatsApp, you need to click "Update on WhatsApp" for the changes to take effect.
    If you have shared the pack before changing the order of the stickers, you need to click the link icon and click "Upload sticker changes".
    
    
    
    
    

Share your sticker packs!

1. Go to the pack screen and click share.
   
   
   
2. Your friends can scan the QR or open the link to add a non-editable version of your pack in their devices.
   
   
   
   

Download packs from the Community:

1. With the new «Community» and «GIPHY» tabs you can download an unlimited number of packs and stickers created by other users.
   
   
   
2. You can list all the packs, search by text or filter by your country.

• Erase

  You can manually erase with different pointer radius.
  
  
  
  
  

• Zoom

  You can use multi-touch zoom while erasing or drawing for better precision.
  
  
  
  
  

• Add text / Emoji

  You can add many text boxes with different fonts, colors and sizes. And you can add emojis too!
  
  
  
  
  

• Combine stickers ("Import sticker" in old versions)

  You can create new stickers combining your other stickers (created with our app). You can prepare sticker parts as different stickers and then reuse them by combining into a new sticker.

  You can add more stickers or the same many times. Then you can resize and rotate each added sticker:
  
  
  
  
  Save it and you'll have a new combined sticker!
  
  
  
  
  

Device migration:

If you need to migrate your stickers to another device or reinstall the app, you can create/restore a backup so you don't lose your stickers. You must upload the backup to Google Drive or export it to external storage.

• Go to "Create/Restore Backup" on tools menu:

  
  
  
  
  
  

• Create, upload/export and restore backup

  The first step is to create a new backup, this backup will be saved to local storage and it will be removed if you unistall the app. Once you have created the local backup, you need to upload it to Google Drive or export it to external storage.

  Then you need to go to "Create/Restore Backup" on the second device and restore the Google Drive backup, or if you have exported the backup to external storage, you need to send the backup file from the first device to the second and restore it from external storage.

  
  
  
  
  
  

Where are the stickers on WhatsApp?

1. Open any individual chat or group.
2. Next to the text input field, tap Emoji > Stickers.
3. Find and tap the sticker you want to send. Please note that once you tap the sticker, it'll send automatically.
