Android 2.x: How to set a Live Wallpaper?

Thank you for download one of our live wallpapers! On this tutorial we're going to explain “How to set an android live wallpaper”
The methods described here may differ a few from the indicated for your device, because there are many different phones, tablets and Operating System versions.
This tutorial is for beginners, for people that never have set a live wallpaper, because the way to set the LWP is the same for all Android LWP (not only for our LWPs)

We'll mention some of the standard ways for common devices and versions. You have to choose the most appropriate for your case:


If you have a phone or tablet with Android 2.x, you have to follow the steps below:



1. Live Wallpapers only are available for devices with Android 2.1 or highest.
2. Hold down your finger in any part of the screen without icons.
3. Select the option “wallpapers” from the displayed dialog.
4. On the next dialog, select “Live Wallpapers”
5. Now you may select one of the available live wallpapers to see it in action
6. If you decide to keep that as your LWP, you have to tap “Set Wallpaper”. If not, tap the back key and select other.

If you have a phone with Android 4.x, you have to follow the steps below:


1. Hold down your finger in any part of the screen without icons.
2. Select the option “set wallpaper for” from the displayed dialog.
3. On the next dialog, select “Home screen”
4. On the next dialog, select “Live Wallpapers”
5. Now you may select one of the available live wallpapers to see it in action
6. If you decide to keep that as your LWP, you have to tap “Set Wallpaper”. If not, tap the back key and select other.

If you have a tablet, you have to follow the steps below:

  1. Hold down your finger in any part of the screen without icons.
  2. Select the option “wallpapers” from the displayed dialog.
  3. On the next dialog, select “Live Wallpapers”
  4. Now you may select one of the available live wallpapers to see it in action
  5. If you decide to keep that as your LWP, you have to tap “Set Wallpaper”. If not, tap the back key and select other.
